Noam Kostucki's inspiring speech titled, “When doing good is the best way to make money” got selected by a panel of judges as one of the top 3 talks, and voted in 2 position by the audience. The speech included stories comparison betwen TOMS Shoes founder and Legal & General's Head of CSR.
Eight contestants took part in the final in the new Ocean theatre on the seafront on Thursday 15 September. The winner was a copywriter from Bromley who had previously got the 2nd position at the world's public speaking championship.
The UK Business Speaker competition was based on auditions posted onto YouTube. The event was sponsored by Wimborne-based RT Media and devised by the UK Speechwriters’ Guild which hosts its annual conference at the Bournemouth University Executive Business Centre.

Former leader of Bournemouth Council, David Trenchard, awarded the trophy. He said: “This has been a great new event. I’m already looking forward to next year.”
