1 year to go from Dream 2 Reality

What is the Dream 2 Reality (D2R) programme about?

Some people want to become doctors, others actors. We have learning support for most careers and passions. What about people who want to lead social change? 

We all learn differently as explained by the Kolb Cycle (on the right) and there is a lot of solution for people who are academic. We want to cater for the people who are non academic, who can't sit and study, but who are passionate and driven.

We believe in creating this pressure cooker environment in cooperation with as many organisations as possible to deliver the best intense 1 year programme to learn how to successfully run a sustainable social entre- prise and lead the social movements that will make the world a better place. We will pay them to attend this course as they need all the support possible.

What will people actually do and learn?

We have divided the year in 3 chapters:

1. For the first 3 months, participants will go through an intense amount of training by experts in the different fields require to successfully lead a movement: communication, entrepreneurship, social awareness, sales, leadership and become fluent in English 2.0
2. For the follow 6 months, participants will be putting the pieces of the puzzle together: they start their social enterprise whilst receiving mentoring by leaders they look up to, coaching from the Seeducation staff and peer to peer support. We will consult for them and within 6 months they must have started to do social good, as well as to generate an income.
3. For the final 3 months, participants will be heading for their future: this is the time to give us feedback as to what was missing in the course, and for us to give participants the last bit of support, knowledge, training before they pitch their ideas to business angels and philanthropists. 

The course will also be 100% open source so that anyone around the world can reuse, and improve it... for free! 

So what's next?

We hope to deliver this one year programme in partnership with the 20-30 best organisations at each specific aspect of creating a movement. Our goal is that every participant leaves the 1 year programme with a sustainable social enterprise and £10,000 savings.
