The report outlines the situation of employees in the UK. It covers the different aspects of life at work under the sections: Job Satisfaction, Employee attitudes towards management, Communication and advocacy, Pressure at work, Work life balance, Employee attitude towards economic downturn and Job security.
Summary of the Job Satisfaction section:
"Overall, job satisfaction has fallen by some way this quarter and stands at +34, compared with +39 in winter and +42 in autumn 2010. This represents the lowest job satisfaction score since we have been conducting this survey (since April 2009).
Employees working in the voluntary sector remain the most satisfied (+44). However, the second most satisfied group, interestingly, are public sector workers (+38). While private sector workers were second most satisfied last quarter, they have dropped to least satisfied with a score of +33 (winter: +40)."
