Why did we start Seeducation?
- Nearly 1 million 16-24 year olds are unemployed or out of education / training in the UK.
- 70% of employers want to improve the employability of school leavers.
An imperfect education system is at least an education system. Our school and university system has allowed us to educate a population in mass and we've achieved great successes with it.
The problem is that we’ve been comfortable settling for ‘almost good enough’. We believe there is a route to professional achievement and a rewarding career for everyone.
It is our mission to help individuals to identify their passion and purpose in life. We take that purpose and train them with new skills and attitudes that are relevant to the workplaces of today and tomorrow. Oh, and because we don’t like to do things by halves, we ensure they find a way to make a positive impact on the world at the same time.
It is important for us that as many people as possible can benefit from Seeducation. Our ability to do this is down to the visionary support of our donors who help us to target unemployed 16-24 year olds.
We also have demand for our services from many people who are unhappy in their careers, or employers who want to improve the effectiveness of their workforces. These places are self funded and help us to reach even more young people.
Thanks to the superb combination our supporters and our experts Seeducation is an education system with a difference. We are building an ecosystem of people doing well by doing good. We can’t wait for you to join us.
